  • Welcome to my blog!

    I. Love. Photography. I love sharing in a couples special day. I love capturing the love of a new mother and father as they watch their baby sleep. I love the laughter of a high school senior. And the smiles of their parents when they see how much their little baby has grown up. I believe in taking advantage the beautiful weather and landscape South Florida has to offer. I believe family, friends and God make the world go round.

    I love smiling and laughing.
    I love country music.
I love the colors blue, orange and yellow.
I love rainy days when I can watch a movie in bed.
I love cookies and cream ice cream.
And I love the New York Yankees.

I love spending time alone, listening to music, writing or driving around in search of new photo spots. My sister is my best friend and without her and my family I don't know where I'd be.

I'd love to share in your memories. And I'd love for you to sit back and enjoy my images and the random things I'll write about on my blog.

The real kind of LOVE.

Welcome to February !!  The month of LOVE.  Who doesn’t love love?  Seriously?  All of us, regardless if we’re single, in a relationship, married, unsure of the title at hand, love love.  It’s in us, all of it.  The desire to be loved and love back, it’s ingrained in our hearts and we gush at the thought of finding ‘the one’.  Some of us find ‘the one’ right away, whereas others it takes a while, which is great too.

I’ve learned that love is something I’ve always had in me.  I love seeing others in love, I love showing love and I love being shown love.  The funny thing is that it manifests itself in so many ways.  It can be a simple hand holding, a sweet note on the refrigerator or a kiss.

God Loves You - Share or Like if you feel his love -

Yet… the greatest love we have is the love from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  He showed us the ultimate display of love when he died on the cross for each and every one of us.  He loved us knowing we’d sin, knowing we’d break the commandments, knowing we’d doubt and fear and question.  He loved us knowing we’d disappoint Him and even through all of that, he willingly died for us.  Now that’s love!

That’s real, unquestionable, unwavering, undeserving love.

So if you’re doubting if anyone loves you, rest knowing you’re so incredibly loved.  And there’s nothing you can do to lose that love.

LaCoursiere Family.

When I met Brian and Mallory, 5 years ago to go over wedding photography, I knew our relationship would be long lasting.  Little did I know that 3 years later we’d become family, as I married Mallory’s twin brother.  We’ve walked many seasons together, including the births of Mallory and Brian’s two babies.  We’ve traveled together, made memories together and enjoyed Sunday night dinners.  I look forward to seeing what the Lord has in store for our families in this beautiful journey called life.

I find beauty in a husband and wives love for one another.  Priceless.

Our Family.

I may be biased, but I simply feel so blessed to have the family I have.  If you know anything about my parents is that they are generous, loving, genuine and dedicated.  Dedicated to each other, dedicated to God, dedicated to family.  I couldn’t have asked for a better family and to watch our lives grow with each passing day truly makes me heart joyful.

My wonderful parents, married 33 years strong.
My sister and her husband, and the baby in her belly.  Eeeekkkk !!!

We’re all so excited to meet the little babe in June.

I can’t stop loving this handsome man!

The Anderson’s.

What an honor it is to document such special moments in a family’s life, such as the arrival of their newest baby boy.  The Anderson’s are friends of my husband and I and to be able to capture such a fun time for them brings so much joy to my heart.  Enjoy their family with me.

Handsome big brother Bradley.

Princess Abby:)

Brittany is such a beautiful mom and her babies are simply precious.

Coffee + Fresh Air + Journals

Happy Wednesday everyone !  Half way through the work week… yay !!

I’ve been trying to allow myself some time to embrace the days, because I’m realizing just how fast it’s going and there’s no stopping it, which saddens me.  I’m learning to soak up the freshness in the air in the morning, the sunrise through our living room windows and the warm home-cooked meal on the table at the end of the day.

  • Coffee – whoever doesn’t drink coffee is totally missing out.  It’s one of my favorite perks of the morning.
  • Pinterest – I find so many wonderful recipes on that darn thing… it’s kind of addicting.
  • Young Living – grateful for a friend who introduced me to some oils that help with my anxiety.  They work wonders!
  • Fresh air – walking out the door in the morning and smelling the fresh air just brings some sort of calmness to the day.
  • Journals – I couldn’t function without my time to journal.  It’s MY time to sit, think, pray, pour out my thoughts.

Your turn!
